REVOLUTIONISING HEIGHT SAFETY WITH SÖLL PIVOTLOC
The PivotLoc Folding Ladder System is a high-performance solution for safe and discreet vertical access. Designed with an integrated GlideLoc® Fall Arrest Rail, it delivers advanced fall protection while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic that complements any building design. When not in use, the PivotLoc ladder folds neatly against the wall — the side rails close to just 105mm wide, making it virtually invisible on the façade. For added safety, the system can be securely locked in its closed position to prevent unauthorised access. Engineered with a variety of mounting and fixing options, PivotLoc can be installed on most structures, meeting both architectural and planning requirements for a discreet access solution that does not compromise safety or performance. In operation, the rungs pivot open behind the central guide rail, forming a strong and stable climbing surface. Combined with the SÖLL GlideLoc® Traveller, the PivotLoc system provides a fully certified fall arrest solution compliant with BS EN 353-1:2014 + A1:2017, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant vertical access for all users.

HOW IT WORKS
The PivotLoc Folding Ladder is designed for simple, safe, and secure operation.
To deploy the ladder:
Unlock the padlock and remove the locking bar.
Release the locking mechanism.
Gently extend the side handle until the ladder is fully open.
Re-insert the locking bar.
The ladder is now ready for safe vertical access.
INTEGRATED GLIDELOC FALL ARREST SYSTEM
The ladder features a central GlideLoc Fall Arrest Rail, designed for use with the GlideLoc Traveller. This shock-absorbing device connects the user’s safety harness to the rail, ensuring protection during ascent and descent.
As the user climbs, the Traveller moves smoothly along the rail.
In the event of a fall, it immediately locks onto the rail, preventing descent and significantly reducing the risk of injury.
The system is designed for self-rescue: in most situations, the user can descend by releasing the Traveller with a slight upward pull, maintaining both security and ease of use.
GLIDELOC® TRAVELLERS
VR650: Designated for entry and exit points.

VR670: Detachable, can be inserted or removed from the rail at any point.

TOP EXIT OPTIONS:
Fixed with a roof fixing post the GlideLoc rail bends on to the roof top, allowing the user to step on to the roof with continuous connection, until they are a safe distance away from the fall risk.
CURVE OVER RAIL
Self-supporting GlideLoc rail that curves on to the roof, allowing continuous connection as the user steps forward on to the roof.
CURVED EXTENSION
OPTION TO POWDER COAT:
For locations where visibility is an issue, the PivotLoc Ladder can be powder coated to match and blend with the wall or surrounding area.
