ALWAYS VERSATILE, FLEXIBLE EQUIPMENT
Each fall arrester is equipped with a shock absorbing element made of stainless steel, which is unique to Söll. This highly effective, durable absorber reduces the impact force to a minimum on a worker's body in the event of a fall. The value falls considerably below 6 KN which is stipulated in the EN 353-1 standard. A top extension can also be added to allow the user to be stood on the top rung of the ladder while still being connected to the fall arrest rail. This includes an EN 795 approved eyebolt to give the user continuous connection.
HOW IT WORKS
To use the Söll Vi-Go system, the worker wears a full-body harness (EN 361 compliant) and attaches the karabiner hook of the Söll Vi-Go Shuttle to the front anchor ring of the harness. The shuttle is then opened and securely connected to the vertical cable.
Once attached, the user can climb or descend the ladder safely and confidently. In the event of a fall, the Vi-Go Shuttle locks instantly onto the cable, arresting the fall and preventing serious injury.
The short connection distance between the harness and shuttle enhances safety while maintaining an ergonomically comfortable climbing position. This design allows complete freedom of movement with continuous fall protection throughout the ascent or descent.
FULLY APPROVED AND CERTIFIED
Each shuttle is equipped with an integrated cushioning element that effectively reduces the load on the cable fixings during a fall. The Söll Vi-Go system is approved and certified to major international standards, including EN 353-1+A1:2017, ANSI, and AS/NZS 1891.3, ensuring reliable performance and global compliance.
